The Tubular Information Management System Information Store (TIMSIS) is based upon our proprietary
Tubular Information Management System (TIMS). TIMS is an Oil Country Tubular
Goods (OCTG) sales and inventory management system. The TIMS system was built to assist
in the management of OCTG inventories. To achieve this goal, the system captures information about a wide variety of activities. These include the purchase,
forecast, sales, shipment, inventory and numerous other aspects of the overall management of
OCTG and line pipe products and services. The TIMS system development began in 1994 and
has been used by the Sumitomo Corporation and Total Premier Services, Inc. since 1995,
and more recently in Sumitomo Corporate's global Supply Chain Management (SCM) initiatives.
TIMSIS is an extension of this initiative. By providing our customers with this flexible
information sharing mechanism, we hope to add value beyond the traditional products and
services offerings. We encourage our customers and suppliers to work with us in our
efforts to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the OCTG supply chain.
